Apple juice

We (the Missus, me and the kids) went apple picking yesterday; having found an abandoned orchard on the estate we live on. The are some fantastic old fashioned varieties (which I am guessing are organic by now) and their flavour is superb.
This morning I decided to turn them into juice and, though it was quite an effort with my sieve and crappy little electric juicer and the end result was yukky looking before it was sieved and had a chance to settle a little, the taste is just amazing. So much so that I am looking to buy a fruit press and start making my own juice for the winter months.
