It’s my daughter’s 2nd birthday today and I am sad I can’t be there but take comfort from the fact that she is surrounded by family and friends, and probably a shit load of toys.
This has been her year for sure; the year she went from baby to fully fledged complex female that, already, I fail to understand completely.
She is angry, aggressive, honest, passionate. She doesn’t listen to a damn thing you say unless she chooses to. She is confident, unafraid, experimental, extremely intelligent and has me roaring with laughter (or sometimes anger) with her sarcasm or sheer cheekiness and she knows that above all else she has me wrapped around her little finger, completely.
Amongst all this chaos that is Charlotte I can say for certain only that she is one of the most beautiful people I know.
