ThinkQuest

Wednesday August 2, 2006

ThinkQuest is an international collaborative web design competition for students, organised by Oracle Education Foundation. It encourages students from various cultural/ethnic backgrounds to work together as a team to produce an educational website.

Kishore, a double-time winner of ThinkQuest, is looking for student team members (aged 19 and under) for this year’s competition (starting in August 2006). He is looking for a good web designer, who knows a thing or two about web standards, Javascript/DOM and other visual aspects of design to be part of an international team of students. The criteria is that the person should be no older than 19 years of age as of May 10 2007.

ThinkQuest is a rather enriching educational experience by itself (how often do you get to collaborate with people from all over the world?), but on top of it, the winners get to attend the prize ceremony in San Francisco (fully sponsored 5 day trip together with a chaperone), and as well as prizes such as laptops, digital cams etc.

If you are interested or would like more details, please contact Kishore at: kishnc@yahoo.com
