Amercia day 6
Saturday June 24, 2006
I am still too tierd to write much, been jet setting all over the place… darling.
One difference has come to my attention, though, and I am guessing it must happen when Americans learn to drive.
You see in the UK when we are taught to drive it is all very gentle and you take your own time etc. The end result is reasonably sane roads on which to drive, with only the occasional nut case.
Judging by the way most Americans seem to drive though, well at least in New York City and San Francisco I have concluded that when an American learns to drive the lessons go a little something like:
Good morning my name is Jeb and I’ll be your instructor for the day, NOW DRIVE MOTHA FUCKA DRIIIIIIVVVVEEEEE AS FAST AS YOUR LITTLE ASS WILL ALLOW!
