Bite Size Standards
Saturday April 15, 2006
It feels really good to be able to tell you about a new, experimental, multi-author blog all about web standards; it is something I have wanted to do for a long time, though to say I did any of the hard work actually building the site would be a lie
The basic idea is that busy web designers don’t always have time to read or write lengthy tutorials but that a daily "bite‚Äù of useful information, taken or given, could be good for the soul.
Things need organizing, things will need refining, this is very much a case of learning as we go along.
We already have about 25 great authors but we will need to attract more, and finding the balance between not being elitist about selection and also finding people who really know their stuff is going to be tricky. No doubt I’ll offend a few people in the process but I am 100% confident that there are plenty of good people out there who will fit the bill and are willing.
It is early days for sure but it’s not too early to say a big thank you to everyone involved in putting this together for all the hard work you have put into making this happen.
Needless to say things will probably go a little quiet round here whilst what little spare time I do have goes into Bite Size Standards.
