No longer a web designer

Wednesday September 7, 2005

For weeks, months, possibly even years I have sought a title I can apply to myself, something for the business card, for the colophon, for those moments where someone asks: what is it you do? Something that sounds impressive, web designer simply is not enough, doesn't tell the full story, so finally I came up with this:

Cyberspace User Naturalisation Tactician

Whadda ye think? Would it work as an acronym?

Wow. It looked great till I saw that acronym part. This is more than great. I want to be one too.

    Fantastic.
But why hire a Cyberspace User Naturalisation Tactician when you can hire an Advanced Rendering Systems Engineer?

I prefer the Cyberspace User Naturalisation Tactician because we designers mostly work on the front end, ahem.

I’m just about to release some free new code that will revolutionise our industry. I’m having trouble with the marketing strap line.

Of utmost importance to any good CUNT is access to the Technical Internet Testing Suite. I think some prior experience with Big Asynchronous Looping Systems is also handy.

Sorry bout that… need another L in there :-s

Why o why must john provoke us so?

Of course… something as blatant (and cool) as lasers should never be forgotten.
