Musical baton

Monday May 16, 2005

I've been passed the baton by Mr. Hicks and Mr. Collinson Colly..nnnn but I'm on my iBook these next few weeks, so I'm a little limited in the gigabyte stakes, anyway here goes:

Total volume of music files on my computer

2.9GB on the iBook but PC more likely around 20GB.

The last CD I bought was

Kasabian - A very pleasant surprise, much better than I thought!

Song playing right now

Have to change that to last song played, as I am in a quiet office, but it was Club Foot by Kasabian.

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me

Hmmm, so tempting just to put Radiohead and very hard to decide but probably something like:

  1. Radiohead - Like spinning plates
  2. Atmosphere - Trying to find a balance
  3. Spearhead - Home
  4. Beatles - Come together
  5. Arrested development - Tennessee

Five people who should be beaten with a stick to whom I'm passing the baton

  1. Andy Clarke
  2. Kevin Leitch
  3. Phil Roche
  4. Erik Sagen
  5. Derek Featherstone

i just want to be really unpopular here and say that I think music should be played on good stereos designed for sound and not computers … i mean people prove me wrong but I have never heard sound through a computer sound anything like real music….
